UTECH Europe, the world-leading polyurethanes exhibition and conference taking place at the MECC in Maastricht, the Netherlands has been rescheduled to 16-18 November 2021.
“We are committed to staging a vibrant UTECH Europe in 2021 to provide the polyurethanes industry with a much-needed platform to recapture lost opportunities, identify new business opportunities and re-engage with industry associates, friends and colleagues,” said Debbie Hershfield, Trade Show Director at organiser Crain Communications. “Taking into account feedback from our stakeholders, it feels right to take this early decision to postpone UTECH Europe until later in the year.”
UTECH Europe had been scheduled for September 2021.
“As good as we felt about hosting UTECH Europe in September, we believe this move to November will fill exhibitors, speakers and attendees with more confidence that they will see the UTECH Europe they’ve come to expect,” Hershfield said.
UTECH Europe is uniquely placed as the only truly international exhibition and conference for the polyurethanes industry and typically attracts visitors from over 80 countries around the world. When last held in 2018, the triennial UTECH Europe attracted over 200 exhibiting companies and a total footfall over three days of 10,113. Over 90 per cent of exhibition space for the event has already been sold.
Unique to Europe is the sheer breadth of the applications of polyurethanes technology from automotive interiors, medical devices, textiles, furniture and footwear through to insulation, adhesives and coatings.
