Isopa welcomes the publication of the Sixth Nordic Swan Ecolabel for construction panels

The sixth version of the Nordic Swan ecolabel for construction panels – which covers composite wood panels – has been published following a consultation phase with its stakeholders. The revised criteria will apply for 5 years, until March 2020.

ISOPA is pleased to see that that objective and science-based input prevailed in setting selection criteria. Indeed, MDI-based resins are increasingly being used to ensure improved indoor air quality by guaranteeing low VOC and low formaldehyde emissions from finished wood based boards.
