Last month ISOPA attended the 24th World Sustainable Energy Days in Wels, Austria.
The event attracted 700 participants from 51 countries, including the European Commission, industry, NGOs, and academics.
Once more, the European Commission took the opportunity to remind participants that the renovation of existing buildings is key to achieve COP21 climate objectives. The Commission’s Executive Agency for SMEs indeed highlighted that the majority of buildings in Europe are old and energy inefficient while two thirds of them are expected to remain in use until 2050.
